I tried both the password to Firefox and the password to email. No go. I was given the option of resetting my password for, I think, Firefox Sync. That means I have an existing Firefox Sync account. You just have to add the Firefox account to the device. Go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account. Select Firefox Account, this will add your Sync account and you will have your Firefox bookmarks on Samsung Internet. I did it today and it is working perfectly.
